Great remote control car with some cool moves for lots of fun
The IDEAPARK Remote Control Car is a really fun little remote control car that can do some cool moves, even if a little difficult to accurately control.
– Includes everything you need
– Looks awesome
– Fun to drive
– A little difficult to control
– Quite loud
When this arrived I was very impressed with the package and everything that was included, it came with all the batteries needed, a charging cable for the car battery and even a small screwdriver for opening the battery compartments, this is so rare to see nowadays. Fitting the battery in the car was a little tricky as it is a very snug fit, I think this must be so it does not rattle around while the car is driving but it is a little difficult to get the battery pack and the cable in nicely.
The controller is nice enough to hold and feels comfortable in the hand, the only issue is the way the car is controlled, the product images suggests that one of the sticks steers the car and the other controls the speed, the was not the case for the unit we received, one stick controlled the one side of wheels and the other controlled the opposite side of wheels, so to move forward you need to hold both forward at the same level. This is fine, but trying to get a six-year-old to accurately drive this within the first few attempts is difficult, it does add some skill to driving which is nice though.
I have included a video of my (trying to) drive the car a bit but whilst trying to hold the camera at the same time was very tricky. You can see the car is very fast and can do some cool moves as the wheel axels can spin around independently from the body of the car. You can also hear in the video that it is quite loud which might get annoying after a while.
