RYSTER Sponge Sanding Block – 4 Pcs Coarse, Medium, Fine, and Superfine Grade

Great value and quality sanding sponges

Really happy with the RYSTER Sponge Sanding Block, they are easy to hold and use and they are very effective. Getting four for the price is great too.

– Different grades are useful
– Should last ages
– Shape makes holding and using them easy
– Great value
– A bit more difficult with precise jobs

You can never have too much sandpaper or sanding material, we are very often sanding and painting odd jobs around the house, the main job I got these for was sanding down and repainting the skirting boards around the house. When they arrived I was quite impressed with the packaging and the fact that each of the sponges is exposed and labelled with the different grades makes picking the right one nice and easy.

In use, I found having the paper on the sponge very useful for holding while using and I find it much more comfortable than using flat sandpaper, it works particularly well for larger surfaces. But where I found it let down a bit was with the finer details, for example in our skirting boards there are two ‘details’ one which is a notch and these actually did great with that as they slide directly into the corner, but the other detail is a recessed curve which these struggled to get into in a uniform way so I reverted to flat sandpaper for that part. But I am impressed enough by the rest of the uses of these to not be too concerned.

Cleaning them is easy and I think they will last a long time based on my usage, and for the money, they are a really great value.
