Very high quality sturdy tongs for everyday use
We have had many pairs of tongs before that been cheap and nasty, meaning that they are either not nice to use or they break after a couple of uses. I’m certainly hoping that is not the case for the HINMAY Stainless Steel Food Tongs. Upon receiving the tongs I was a little disappointed with the packaging of them, arriving in simple plastic wrap, it is fine and functional but I think for the price point I expected a little more.
One other thing that struck me when I first opened them was just how big they were, I know 14 inches I large but I wasn’t quite expecting them to be so big, I was definitely thinking of a mans 14 inches. The tongs have a rubberised grip which makes them easy to control and I have not felt any risk of losing my grip on them during use.
The bounceback from the tongs is quite strong particularly with the shorter tong, which does give quite a bit of resistance, this might make it a bit harder to use if you have less dexterity in your hands or fingers, but for those of us lucky enough to not suffer from anything like this, I am hoping that it will mean they will not become weak and useless over time.
