So impressed, I’m really hoping it is not just a coincidence
It could be a complete coincidence but this Ultrasonic Pest Repeller seems to have completely fixed our fly issue.

So we ordered these as we live on a new-build estate and I’m not sure if that is the reason, but we have a really bad fly problem, and all of our neighbours report the same issue. We consistently had 5-10 flys buzzing around the house during the day, it has been particularly bad recently with the mix of wet and hot weather.
So when these arrived my first impression Of the product was that the build quality and materials were a bit lacking, but really considering they are only £5 each I would much rather the cost be spent on the inner workings than the case.
Our kitchen is where we get most of our issues with flys and is a relatively large room, being an open plan dining space too, so I thought I would plug one in on either side of the kitchen. This was 4 days ago and I know the product description says it will increase pest activity for the first 1-2 weeks, but in the past 4 days, we have had zero flys around the house. I’m not saying that it is definitely due to this product but I’m hopeful.
Two small issues I do have with the product is that the lights indicating that the product is active are really dim and it is hard to know what state it is in without covering it with my hand. Also, they are pretty big and I know we have extension leads around with lots of things plugged in where one of these would not fit.
I’m very hopeful that this has fixed our fly problems, but I am also aware I might be a bit premature with my judgement, I’m just so impressed I wanted to get this written while still feeling passionate about them. If this changes over the next few weeks I will be sure to come back and update this review.
UPDATE – They really helped throughout the rest of the summer, they kept flies and other flying insects at bay although we had a few stubborn spiders that did not seem bothered by them. as the weather has got much colder we are not needing to use these now but just before we decommissioned them one of them started giving our an audible sound and I don’t think we will be using that one next summer.
