Nice overall, but I wouldn’t want to spend any more money on it
I plan on giving the Kami Idea Swarovski Necklace to my partner for her birthday, I hope she likes it, I know she will have a few issues with it already though.
– The colour of the gem is really faded
– The chain seems very cheap and nasty
– It doesn’t sit very flat
– The box is nice
My partners birthday is coming up and I saw this was available, so I thought it was worth a shot for a nice gift for her. It came in a nice blue gift box with fancy gold detailing on the top giving it a more expensive look than it might actually be. On the inside the necklace is presented on a nice insert which positions the necklace nicely, I would recommend for anyone giving this as a gift, open it up beforehand and adjust the way it sits, when mine arrived it was not sat in a nice way to be presented, but it is easy to adjust and now looks like the photo I have attached.
The pendant looks nice, the diamond style details surrounding the crystal look nice and are very sparkly, but the crystal itself is quite disappointing, I was expecting it to be vibrant like in the product images on the listing, but in reality, the colour is very subtle and some people might prefer this, but I was a bit disappointed. Then the chain which the pendant is attached to is maybe the worst part of the package. It is metal coloured, not shiny or silver, but more of a dirty grey, it does not seem very sturdy either. I tried it on to see how it sat and it sits pretty high up and if you do not have the most slender of necks then it will be quite tight. I’m pretty sure we will be keeping the pendant but getting a new chain to put it on.
One final thing is that it does not lay flat, and I imagine this will mean when wearing it, it will often spin and end up the back of it is on display, in the image of it out of the box I have included you can see that it the flattest I could get it to sit.
