Electric shaver convert
This is the first electric mens shaver of this type that I have used, I thought for the price it looked good and worth a try. When it arrived I was quite impressed with the packaging and you could easily slap a major brand name on the box and it would not raise any eyebrows.
Once I got the shaver out, I was pretty happy with the size and weight, but it is a little longer than I thought it would be. I think it would be nice if the head tilted a bit so you don’t need to hold it perpendicular with your face. The cutting parts themselves tilt to help and make good contact in use though. The fact that it is rechargeable is great, but unfortunately, it is a proprietary charging port which I was a little surprised at, I expected like most things like this, that it would be micro-USB which would mean I could reuse a cable I already had.
When I turned it on I noticed that it was quite loud but it sounds like a relatively normal sound for this type of device.
I wanted to document how it performed, both for this review and for my own reference. I decided to use it on half of my face. I started with a dry shave and you can see that it does a reasonable job from the images attached, but there is still quite long stubble left. I then did a wet shave over the top of the dry shave and this was really impressive, the extra lubrication helped the shaver effortlessly glide over my face and did a great job, even if it had a head start by having the dry shave first. I then wanted to compare this to a razor shave, which is what I have been using before this. You can see the razor shave gets much closer to the skin and leaves a nicer finish.
When in use I’m really happy with this, even if the results are not quite as close as with a razor, the fact that it did the job effortlessly and with no discomfort or pain in the process.
When done with the shaver, to clean I simply put it under the tap and removed the head to get underneath where the hair is caught. This was easy and simple.

It does not specifically state compatibility with the lush forest one, but it looks like the same connection and it is also USB powered. Also this option is only if you have the same model as we reviewed.
