Good quality poncho, but small and expensive
We got the Vivida Lifestyle Premium Baby Hooded Poncho Towel to put on our 1-year-old son after he gets out of the bath, it does do the job, but it’s already pretty small. Hopefully, he will continue to fit into it for a while.
– It is very well made and seems sturdy
– The fabric is a nice and soft
– The sizing seems very small
– Very expensive for what you get
So upon receiving this I was quite impressed to start with, everything about it seems premium and well made. The branding is also all over the poncho, which normally I find a bit much, but made it feel like a fancy brand. The materials a nice and soft, there outside is very soft almost like a microfibre clothe and the inside is a bit less soft and more grippy.
When I opened it out I was concerned about the size, our son is tall and thin so I wasn’t overly surprised that the height was too small for him, but the width is a concern, once it is on it looks fine, but the big issue is getting his arms up through the body of the poncho. Once on it is fine in terms of width but the bottom of the poncho reaches his waist, which does look a bit silly.
Although it does work for what we are using it for, I think I would recommend either a dressing gown or have a more conventional towel poncho which works well.
