Great cordless vacuum cleaner at a great price
The Vacmaster Orson Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is a really good value alternative to many of the more expensive brands of cordless vacuum cleaners, it has most of the features of other brands and performs really well in comparison but at around half the price for the complete package.

This is our first cordless vacuum cleaner and we previously used a Dyson ball and a Henry around the house, one for use upstairs and the other for downstairs. Because of the portability of this, we hoped that it could replace both as it is so easy to carry upstairs. When this arrived I was pleasantly surprised with the packaging and presentation, I was expecting it to be cheap and basic but the packaging is very premium and looks almost as good as what you would expect from Dyson.
The cleaner is light especially without the battery attached and it and the attachments all feel sturdy and well made, I have not felt like the build quality is lacking in any of the parts so far, although the wall bracket is a little basic feeling and it did not come with any screws or anything to attach it so you will need to hope you have something that is appropriate for the wall you are attaching it to. On the topic of the wall bracket, we have a young child in the house who likes to destroy things and my partner had a good idea to put the wall bracket at the right height so that the main attachment would be flat on the floor when rested on it, this means that he cannot pull it down as the cleaner itself prevents it from moving downwards. I am a little disappointed that the bracket cannot charge the battery, I was expecting it to as many others do, and the bottom of the hoover even has two metal connectors that look like they are for charging but unfortunately the battery can only be charged by removing it and inserting it into the charger.
The battery life of the hoover we have found to be a bit better than advertised and we are getting about 15-20 mins in the turbo mode where they advertise 12 mins which is good but could be better. One tip when it comes to charging is that the battery needs to clip into the charger like it does with the hoover, but it is not immediately clear that this is the case, if it doesn’t slide in then it is not in properly.
Overall we are very happy with this and would recommend it to anyone who wants the convenience of a cordless vacuum cleaner without the cost you expect.
