OLLY’S Pretzel Thins: Original Salted

OLLY’S Pretzel Thins: Original Salted

These are fine, but not great pretzels

OLLY’S Pretzel Thins are not quite as pretzeley as I was expecting, but they are nice as their own thing.

– They do not really taste like a normal snack pretzel
– Pretty good on calories
– Nice packaging
– Pretty expensive

So I love pretzels, both big soft pretzels and small crunchy snack pretzels, I had no thought that these would resemble a soft pretzel but in my mind, I was expecting a snack pretzel that had been flattened. Strangely as much as these resemble that they taste much more like a Ritz cracker with that slightly salted cracker taste, which is fine if you like Ritz crackers but they do not that that normal pretzel doughiness.

I was just left a little disappointed, I think if I knew more about what they were going to be beforehand I would not be disappointed, and maybe marketing them as a cracker or even a crisp would help. It does seem like they should be a good value getting 10 packs, but unfortunately, that means you are paying over a pound a pack and when a pack is comparable to a packet of crisps I don’t expect to pay that much when buying 10 packets of crisps. I really wanted to like these but unfortunately, they have left me feeling a little salty.
