Our new favourite bowls
For quite a while we had been buying our tableware from supermarkets primarily, which was very cheap, but the quality has always been lacking. We decided to try and find a good set on Amazon, our only real requirements were that they needed to dishwasher and microwave safe, and we decided on the YöL Soup Bowls.
When these turned up we were very impressed with the feel of them, they feel very high quality and sturdy. One of the best things about them is the contrasting finishes, on the exterior of the bowl there is a matte finish which not only looks nice but also makes them easier to grip, whereas on the inside the finish is shiny making it easier to clean. We like the colours, the combination of the two colours means that we can mix and match between me and my partner.
The only issue we have found with them is that there are a few ‘bubbles’ underneath the finish at the top of the bowls. I’ve shown it in one of the pictures I have attached, it is not very noticeable in the picture, but there are a few bubbles on 3 of the 4 bowls. I’m not sure if this has happened since we have had them or they came like it, maybe this has happened in the dishwasher, but they claim to be dishwasher safe
